Terms of Service

Last updated: June 6, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Cadence ("Cadence", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Cadence is a tool for creating, managing, scheduling, and publishing social media content, including with AI assistance and publishing to social platforms you connect (such as Facebook Pages).

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity in your account. You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service to violate any law or the rules of a connected platform (including Meta's Platform Terms and Community Standards);
  • publish content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, or harmful;
  • create non-consensual sexual or “nudifier” imagery, or photorealistic deepfakes of real people without their consent;
  • remove, obscure, or tamper with the AI provenance marks the service applies (visible AI labels, invisible watermarks, or C2PA manifests);
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or to other users' data;
  • interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create or upload. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit that content solely to operate the service for you, including publishing it to the platforms you choose. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the content you publish.

Connected platforms

When you connect a third-party platform such as Facebook, you authorize Cadence to act on your behalf within the permissions you grant. Your use of those platforms is also subject to their own terms. You can disconnect a platform at any time in Connections.

AI-generated content and transparency

Cadence uses AI to help generate content. AI output may be inaccurate or unsuitable; you are responsible for reviewing and approving everything before publishing. We make no warranty regarding AI-generated content.

To support transparency under the EU AI Act, images generated by Cadence are marked as AI-generated — with a visible label, an invisible watermark, and (where enabled) a signed C2PA manifest. You agree not to remove or tamper with these marks.

Intellectual property

The Cadence software, design, and branding are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property other than the right to use the service.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cadence will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time (see the Data Deletion page or email privacy@ecadence.ai). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you through the service. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
